2026 at Fort Perch Rock is being hosted by the Soul Sisters Scooter Club.

It’s an annual event in June that traditionally lands on Father’s Day, that originally was born out of a Father’s Day rideout by the Manchester Lazy Aces SC to New Brighton’s Fort Perch Rock in Wirral 30 years ago.

Cloud 9 embraced the suggestion of hosting Storm the Fort scooter meetup every Father’s Day since. Members from the Soul Sisters Scooter Club who are also in Cloud 9 are organising Storm the Fort, this year known as ‘Ride the Tide’ and a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK, who will be at the event.

When is it?

Sunday 21st June 2026, which is Father’s Day. Scooterists normally rock up from 12 noon onwards.

Who do we support?

This year, Cloud 9 Birkenhead and the Soul Sisters Scooter Club supports Cancer Research UK. As a Community Interest Company, any fundraising monies go direct to the charity on the day of the event.
